Reduce noise on the output signal
Measures to improve the signal/noise ratio
Connect the ground of the power supply and the ground of the analog-digital converter to the terminal of the measuring amplifier
- "run all wires as a pair to and from the measuring amplifier";
 - GND at the measuring amplifiers GSV-1 and GSV-11 is then doubly connected!

The quality of the power supply is decisive for the quality of the output signal.
-
The measuring equipment should have its own power supply,
 -
A switching power supply can cause interference. If in doubt, it is better to use a linear power supply.
 - own cable duct for sensors and actuators
 - Terminating resistor 10kOhm or 1kOhm at the analog input of the PLC or the AD converter. The electronics of ME-Meßsysteme have 50Ohm output resistance and can therefore be loaded. The error due to load on the output is usually negligible (50 Ohm/ 10000 Ohm)
 - Some AD converters require oversampling and subsequent averaging. The scatter of AD converters using the SAR method Successive Approximation can be quite high...
 - Twisted pair cables
 - Place the screen on one side only
 - Connect Earth to Test bench
 - Using the Ground Connection of the GSV-8DS
 - For GSV-8DS, try connecting the GNDE terminal (ground for analog input) to ground.
 - Exclude USB port as source: e.g. Ground USB, remove notebook power supply, use grounded power supply.
 - Check the insulation resistance of the sensor
 - Avoid ground loops, ground unilaterally,
 - Only route cables with ground reference to the measuring amplifier in pairs: Supply voltage + GND FROM power supply TO measuring amplifier is a pair, output signal + GND FROM measuring amplifier TO power supply is a pair

Over the entire measuring range of force sensors or torque sensors, analog amplifiers usually achieve a signal-to-noise ratio between 1000/1 and 10000/1 (with a bandwidth of 250Hz).
