How to determine the Center of Pressure (CoP) with a force plate

A force plate can be used to determine not only the magnitude of the force but also the effective location of the force application. ("Center of Pressure", COP)
This requires a plate mounted on 3 or 4 force sensors.

The sensor K3R110a is basically a plate on 4 force sensors, milled from one piece:

Alternatively, you can also use a force/torque sensor. Instead of displaying the moments, you can also display the effective location of the force application.
