Improvement of the resolution for measuring amplifiers with USB interface
For transmitters whose AD converter is powered by the USB port, there is often considerable interference from 50Hz interference.
The cause is often the switching power supply of the notebook.
Possible solutions are:
- Using a power supply with earthing,
- Grounding the USB ports,
- Earth of the negative pole of the power supply on notebook
- Earth of the experimental setup, the metallic base plates, etc.
The Messversärker GSV-8DS has an extra 2mm socket for connecting a ground wire.
In the GSV-8DS, another measure may be to connect the amplifier GSV-8 with grounding with its 2mm grounding plug.
