How to increase the maximum configurable data frequency

Which configuration has influence on the maximum configurable data frequency

The software "GSVmulti allows the setting of the data frequency. By data frequency we mean the number of measurement data per second that are sent via the interface. The internal "sampling frequency of the measuring amplifier". is higher than the data frequency. Through this "oversampling" and subsequent filtering or averaging, the noise amplitude of the measurement data is reduced as far as possible.

The user selects the data frequency in GSVmulti:

data-frequency-1a

The following settings - accessible under "Advanced Settings - have an influence on the maximum adjustable data frequency:

For GSV-8 please deactivate.

The baud rate also has an influence.

Data format

With the GSV-8 the settings "Float (4 byte)", or 24 bit or 16 bit are possible.

With the GSV-2 and the GSV-3, for example the text format with 11 bytes length is also possible. This format reduces the maximum data frequency to approx. 100Hz limited.
